PROGRAM LEVEL

The B.Sc. program in Chemistry is designed to provide graduates with knowledge and understanding of the core theories and principles of Chemistry and provide them with the required skills that would enable them to conduct experiments, interpret and analyze data, and solve problems within the field of Chemistry. The program comprises 128 credit hours over eight full-time academic semesters. The qualification is delivered in English and offered by the College of Science, Department of Chemistry.

The Department of Chemistry offers courses and programs leading to B.Sc. degree in chemistry (single track) and chemistry with minor in Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and Astronomy. The program is placed on the National Qualification Framework (NQF) as level 8 programs in December 2020. All B.Sc. programs in Chemistry are accredited by Canadian Society for Chemistry since 2010.
