Biography


Dr. Eman Khorsheed has a Ph. D in Statistics from University of Bath- UK, 2007, a Data Science Professional Certificate from IBM- USA, 2020, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from York St. John University- UK, 2011. She is an Associate Professor of Statistics & Data Science in the department of Mathematics since 2023. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy- UK. In 2021, she became an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI). Most recently, she has been elected a Council Member of the International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics (ISBIS). She is an author of several refereed publications. Her areas of expertise are Statistics, and data science for modeling real-life problems in different sectors including Energy, Public Health, Environment, Industry, Economics, & Space Sciences. She has organized/participated in several international conferences.
