FACULTY BIO

Dr. Ihab H Naeim is an expert in Laser Metrology. I Started my career as an assistant researcher at National Institute for Standards in Egypt,1990. I have completed my PhD practical studies in Institute of Micro-Technology-Neuchatel University, Switzerland, 2000/04. Awarded Postdoctoral research stays at both PTB- Germany & LNE-France, 2008/09. I’ve achieved a training scholarship at the French Metrology Institutes [LNE & BIPM - France],1999. I was working as a principal researcher at End and line standards lab at the national institute of standards. During the last ten years, 2013-2022, I’ve leaded and supervised the teaching process at Taibah University, KSA (YNB branch). Served as a Referee for many of Saudi universities in Physics projects (multi-disciplines). Most of my scientific papers have been published in optoelectronic fields in reputed journals. I participated in several international scientific conferences in America [Philadelphia 2014, Rochester 2006, Arizona 2005]. Worked as a visiting professor of engineering and medical physics courses in several universities inside and outside Egypt. I am a member and a referee in several international journals [SPIE, JPAA, and IOSR]. I’ve obtained the Leadership Award at Taibah University 2015. Currently I’ve the honor of working as Associate Professor of Physics at Bahrain University in Bahrain.
