Biography

He is an expert in Laser Metrology, began his scientific career in 1990 as an Assistant Researcher at the National Institute for Standards (NIS-Egypt), where he contributed to the development of national standards in dimensional and optical metrology. Earlier in his career, he received a training scholarship 1999 at both the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures BIPM and Laboratoire National de Métrologie et d’Essais LNE – France, enhancing his research capacity in international metrological skills.

He conducted his Ph.D. practical studies at the Institute of Microtechnology (IMT), Neuchâtel University, Switzerland (2000-2004). Following his doctoral work, was awarded postdoctoral research fellowships at both the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt PTB, Germany and the LNE, France during 2008–2009.

Between 2013 and 2022, Dr. Naeim led and supervised academic programs at Taibah University (Yanbu Branch), Saudi Arabia, where he also acted as a scientific referee and evaluator for applied physics projects across various Saudi universities. His outstanding leadership and contributions earned him the Academic Leadership Award from Taibah University in 2015. Throughout his academic career, he has taught Engineering Physics and Medical Physics at several international universities in Egypt, including the Canadian International College (CIC), Future University (FUE), and Modern Sciences and Arts University (MSA). Dr. Naeim has published many scientific papers in reputable international journals, in the fields of Optoelectronics, Laser Metrology, and Applied Physics. He has also presented his researches at several major international conferences, including Arizona (2005), Rochester (2006), and Philadelphia (2014) in the United States. Currently, Dr. Naeim serves as an Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Bahrain, he is also an active member and reviewer for several international scientific societies and journals, including SPIE, JPAA, and IOSR.
