Biography

Dr. Javed Iqbal has completed his master's degree from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He did his PhD from Jilin University, Changchun, P.R China with a focus on the synthesis and fabrication of Organic Functional Materials. After completing PhD, he worked as a Postdoc Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, Umeå University, Umeå, Sweden. His current focus of research is renewable energy especially photovoltaic materials and devices. He is also involved in synthesis and applications of graphene and g-carbon nitride-based photocatalysts. He also deals in DFT study of solar cells materials, non-linear optical materials, sensors, reaction mechanism and therapeutic potential of various carriers for drug delivery.

Dr Javed has published over 270 research articles in well reputed high impact factor international journals with h-index of 37. He is also author of several book chapters. He serves as guest editor, member, referee, and reviewer for many international renowned scientific journals. He has supervised 8 PhD students and over 80 MS degree students. He has successfully completed several research projects as Principal Investigator.
