FACULTY BIO

PhD in Physics, Imperial College London, UK Dr. Alsaei has a PhD in condensed matter theory and theory and simulation of materials. His area of interest is to study and predict materials properties and functions by means of ab-initio density functional theory calculations and atomistic simulations, with a special interest in ferroelectric oxides. Other interests include Metropolis Monte Carlo simulations of magnetic nanoparticles, and multi-scale modeling. Dr. Alsaei has contributions in a number of scientific conferences and workshops. He also published several papers in peer-reviewed journals.
