Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences An assistant professor at the Department of Physics, University of Bahrain. Karim has a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences and M.Sc in Electronics and Optics from the Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon, France. His Ph.D. work was related to the development of ultra-stable frequency sources in the microwave domain: X, Ku, K and Ka bands. In 2010, he was appointed a three years position, as an Australian Postdoctoral Fellow, within the Frequency Standard and Metrology group in the Physics Department at the University of Western Australia. Then, he worked two years at the Centre de Développement des Technologies Avancées, Algiers, Algeria, doing research activities in optics and photonics. In 2015, he joined the Ecole Supérieur de Technologies Industrielles at Annaba, Algeria, teaching electronics electrical Engineering and renewable energies.
