FACULTY BIO

PhD in mathematics, University of Rajasthan, India, 1996 Dr. Mohannad Shahwan areas of expertise are Lie theory and special functions. He was the deputy dean of the Faculty of Science and IT many times, assistant of the dean of the Faculty of Science and IT 2005-2006, chairman of the departments of mathematics and physics, 2004-2006. He was the main editor of the proceeding of the first conference on Mathematical Sciences held at Zarqa private University in April 18-20, 2006, Jordan which is indexed and reviewed in American Mathematical Review. He won two gold medals for being first in class in the MSc program in 1994. He is a member of Jordanian mathematical society and member of Society for special functions and their applications (SSFA)
