FACULTY BIO

Dr. Muhammad AZEEM conducted his  doctoral dissertation in Institute of Biologie Moleculaire et Cellulaire, Universite de Strasbourg Strasbourg, France and explored the molecular as well as cellular basis of cell cycle regulators in arabidopsis.  In my research, I developed transgenic lines and explored the role of CDKBs. Before this he did my Master 2R in plant production and Environment from Universite de Reims France, M. Phil  and Master in Botany from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. After his PhD, Dr Muhammad AZEEM served in department of Botany, Government College University and explored the physiological modifications in agronomical crops with specific focus on utilization of all available resources like PGPRs, Radiation, Seed pre treatments etc, to ameliorate the water and salt stresses. In addition being a part of Economic Botany lab he used various flora to extract the industry friendly pigments. He joined University of Bahrain as Assistant Professor in Department of Biology, College of Science in December 2021.
