FACULTY BIO

Dr. Qamar obtained his MSc (Zoology, 2010) and MPhil (Animal Physiology, 2012) degree from the Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan and Ph.D. in Biology from the Kongju National University, Korea (South) in 2017. He was appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology/ Medical Laboratory Technology University of Sindh, Jamshoro. He has six years of experience in research and teaching at the University level. He has expertise in Drug testing (In vitro, in vivo, & in silico). He is presently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology, University of Bahrain. He authored 80 scientific papers and 2 book chapters, his H-Index is 23, i10-index is 48, with 200 plus impact factor and above 1992 citations. Dr. Qamar has organized and delivered many workshops and seminars. His research interests include investigation of novel inhibitors for skin pigmentary disorders and for the inhibition of diabetes. He is actively engaged with various research groups of pharmacology, nanomedicines, diabetes and hyperpigmentation disorders for testing of their newly developed molecules.
