Biography


Dr. Qurrat-ul-ain Gulfam works in the field of applied Physics with a special focus on theoretical quantum optics. Her research interest is in resolution enhancement in the spatial domain, correlated atomic systems and fluorescent emission. She completed her MS and PhD in Physics under the supervision of Dr. Joerg Evers at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, Germany in 2013. She worked as a tutor at the University of Heidelberg. She joined Jazan University, Saudi Arabia as an Assistant Professor in 2013. She was elected as a council member of the AMOP division of the Saudi Physical Society for four years. She taught many undergraduate courses on a wide range of topics there. She joined the department of Physics at the University of Bahrain as an Assistant Professor in 2021.

Dr. Qurrat-ul-ain Gulfam works in the field of applied Physics with a special focus on theoretical quantum optics.
