Dr. Sabika Allehdan earned her PhD in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Jordan at Amman in 2020. She obtained her MSc degree in Nutrition Science from Jordan University of Science and Technology at Irbid in 2011 and her BSc degree in Food and Nutrition from Applied Science Private University at Amman in 2008. Dr. Sabika Allehdan worked as Teaching Assistant at Department of Nutrition and Food Technology at Jordan University of Science and Technology between 2009 and 2011. Then she joined King Hamad University Hospital as a Nutritionist from 2012 to 2013. She also worked as Research Assistant at Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Department at the Hashemite University between 2015 and 2017. Recently, she is working as Assistant Professor of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Department of Biology at University of Bahrain. Her research area lies in developing dietary questionnaires and investigating association between nutrients intake and risk of developing chronic diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular diseases. She has published more than 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has served as a reviewer for many journals including British Journal of Nutrition, Public Health and Nutrition, and Journal of International Medical Research.
