PhD in Food Science, University of Leeds, UK. Dr. Tariq is an Associate Professor of Nutrition at the University of Bahrain since 2022. He has more than 15 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate level and is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (UK). He authored and co-authored more than 45 articles in scientific journals. His research interests includes nutrition issues related to aging, chronic disease prevention through nutrition, body composition and dietary assessment.
