Biography


PhD, Zhejiang University, China, 2013. Dr. Wael Amer has received his Master degree from Tanta University, Egypt. In 2009, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China to study the chemistry and physics of polymers. After his PhD, he started his postdoctoral research at Tanta University in the field of Physical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Wastewater Treatment, Chemistry and Physics of Polymers, Heterogenous Catalysis, Photocatalysis, and Sensors. In 2018, he joined the National Institute for Materials Science in Tsukuba, Japan for postdoctoral research to study graphene-based materials for supercapacitors applications. In October 2020, he was awarded the Egyptian State Incentive Award in Chemistry for the year 2019. Biography


PhD, Zhejiang University, China, 2013. Dr. Wael Amer has received his Master degree from Tanta University, Egypt. In 2009, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China to study the chemistry and physics of polymers. After his PhD, he started his postdoctoral research at Tanta University in the field of Physical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Wastewater Treatment, Chemistry and Physics of Polymers, Heterogenous Catalysis, Photocatalysis, and Sensors. In 2018, he joined the National Institute for Materials Science in Tsukuba, Japan for postdoctoral research to study graphene-based materials for supercapacitors applications. In October 2020, he was awarded the Egyptian State Incentive Award in Chemistry for the year 2019.
