Mrs. Rukaya AbdulGhafoor is a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biology at the College of Science. She received her BSc. in Biology (minor Chemistry) with first class honors in 2014. Her graduation research paper received the Sh. Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa Research Prize as the Best Published Research in Bahrain Medical Bulletin during the year 2015. She has previously worked as a Laboratory Quality Officer and Technologist at King Hamad University Hospital. In her current position at the University of Bahrain, she is looking forward to working on various research projects in the fields of Biology.
