Dr. Mona Abdulaziz Al-Jar

Dr. Mona A. Aziz Aljar is an Assistant Professor at Department of Chemistry, College of Science, University of Bahrain. Educational Qualifications · Ph.D., Environmental and Sustainable Development program, University of Bahrain (2023) · M.S., Spectroscopy, Lille 1 University of Science and Technology, France (2014) · B.S., Chemistry, University of Bahrain (2000) Research: Dr. Mona’s research interests are mainly focused on biodegradable polymeric hydrogel nanomaterials for industrial wastewater treatment: dyes and heavy metals removal, biobased composites for environmental application, spectroscopic analytical measurement and sustainable development. She is an author and co-author of many scientific papers related to the environmental chemistry in high impact international journals. She participated in several conferences in the field of wastewater treatment.
